This Saturday, March 2nd, Friends of Reed Park is partnering with Austin Parks Foundation for the biannual It’s My Park DayOn this day all around Austin, volunteers will head to their local parks and green spaces to clean up litter, mulch trees, and more.
As a friend of Reed Park, we’d like to invite you and your family to join us this Saturday morning from 9AM – 12PM to help clean up the park. We’ll specifically focus on clearing overgrown areas as well as mulching trees and picking up litter from the creek.
IT’S MY PARK DAY @ REED PARK
WHO: Friends and neighbors of Reed Park
WHAT: Join in the Austin-wide It’s My Park Day to clean up the park and clear overgrown trees. Breakfast tacos, coffee, & juice will be provided.
WHERE: Reed Park, 2614 Pecos St.
WHEN: Saturday, March 2nd, 9AM-12PM
WHY: To make our neighborhood park an even better spot for families, friends, and dogs to gather and play.
This is just the start of some big plans we have in the works for Reed Park… to make it an even better community gathering spot: cleaner, more functional, safer, and more naturally beautiful. We’ll share more details on Saturday and feel free to email me directly with any questions or feedback.
