Guidelines:

* never, ever post commercial messages (aka spam) of any type —
whether or not personal or otherwise (instead use Craigslist or
eBay);
* only post once/day/topic and to cut and paste and combine messages
as appropriate to include and respond to only those pieces
appropriate to your response (exceptions made for discussions
where timeliness is an issue — such as when action is imminent);
* sign your full name (so we know who you are) with your
neighborhood (so we know the area where you live) and any
affiliations with the particular subject matter at hand (for full
disclosure);
* refrain from forwarding/posting private e-mails as quoting
personal e-mail on the list (even personal, private, off-list
replies to list messages) without the express written consent of
the writer is prohibited;
* make sure messages are pertinent to the mission of  WANG —
discussing issues that is of interest to those working to sustain
and/or improve our neighborhood quality of life;
* focus messages on the content and issues of substance, not on the
individual or person; messages that focus on the individual tend
to be perceived as an insult or personal attack;
