On Friday afternoon (Oct. 22, 2:30-4:30 pm), the National Trust for Historic Places will film interviews at Waterloo Records (600 N. Lamar) with people in our central city area about what we treasure and wish to preserve about Austin. The interviews are part of a documentary being prepared in conjunction with the NTHP Convention that will be held here later this month.
What should Austin save? It is an important question for a city growing so dramatically. Starting Friday, October 22, the National Trust for Historic Preservation will roll its video cameras at locations across town with one goal in mind – to capture your answers. Join us and speak your mind about the city you call home. What places define it? What do you want the future to look like? What is historic preservation and how can it help? Additional info is posted at http://www.preservationnation.org/resources/training/npc/austin-unscripted/.
