Family Clean Water Festival: The Colorado River Foundation is holding its Family Clean Water Festival on Wednesday, March 18th, 10 am- 2 pm at Redbud Center, 3601 Lake Austin Blvd, Austin, TX 78703, on the grounds outside. The Festival provides a day of fun, FREE learning about the Colorado River and the lakes of Austin during Spring Break for children of all ages and their families! Volunteers are needed to set up booths/tables with a variety of interactive projects and experiments that will teach children about the river and the importance of conservation. Activities will include: creatures of the river, river art, water conservation activates, water monitoring, water safety skills, face painting, water science experiments, and much more! To Volunteer or learn more about this opportunity: Contact Sarah at CRF, 498-1587 or , www.coloradoriver.org. We need between 20-30 volunteers to make this happen, and I hope you will be one!
