Post West Austin home robbed, resident stabbed
    on: December 7, 2011, 21:39

This was mere blocks from us. We all know who the regulars are in our neighborhood and must continue to keep a watchful eye for people that are out of place. This certainly isn't bike theft or nuisance door to door salesmen.

A West Austin home was robbed Wednesday morning and the resident is in the hospital with life threatening injuries after being stabbed, according to police.

It happened at around 7:10 a.m. at the 2100 block of Winsted Lane, just west of Mopac and south of Windsor Road.

Police say a white man and white woman entered the home and stole items from the residence. The victim was stabbed during the robbery.

Police do not yet have full description of the suspects.

We will update this story as we learn more.
