SpecialEvents@ci.austin.tx.us. Staff will return the calls and emails
between 24-48 hours. To further improve communication within the city and inform the public of street closures and other transportation news the Transportation Department Public Information Office also provides news releases for the media to distribute, publish and broadcast on a regular basis.
